MASTER OF LAWS - LLM

COURSE SUMMARY The Master of Laws - LLM is a 3-year research-based pathway program offered by Africa School of Politics and Governance at ASPG University. The program is delivered 100 percent online to students across Africa and globally. This LLM trains legal scholars and specialists to master one of the 20 core areas of law and produce research that reforms law and policy in African nations. The program is structured in 3 stages. Year 1 Entry Diploma builds advanced foundations in legal theory, research methods, constitutional law, and justice. Year 2 Master builds specialisation and comparative analysis in the chosen area of law, with focus on policy and legislative drafting. Year 3 Advanced LLM focuses on original research to produce a thesis, legal opinion, and draft bill or policy. All legal study is measured against Constitutional Law and God’s Law on justice, fairness, and human dignity. Graduates will be equipped to conduct specialist legal research, draft legislation, advise government and courts, and serve as leaders in law, policy, and academia.
